    Sweden (Sverige) made major advances in analog computers after the end of World War II in the 1940s and 1950s in an attempt to keep up with computing advances in the U.S. Major players in these advances were Chalmers University of Technology and the Swedish aerospace industry. At the end of the 1960s, Sweden was a major world player in computers, but was unable to sustain its general computer production.
